1946 Martin 00-18 features a solid Sitka spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides. The neck is also made of mahogany, while the fingerboard and bridge are crafted from Brazilian rosewood.
The classic tone-wood combination of spruce and mahogany gives the 00-18 a balanced, warm, and highly articulate voice that is prized for both fingerpicking and light flat-picking.
This fabulous old guitar has seen some action, expert repair from side collision, original timber pressed back in and touched up re-glue and cleated. Pro re-fret and a neck reset at some stage.
