“When I think back to all of the cool guitars I’ve seen over my career, some of the ones that have stuck in my mind the most were 1960’s custom color guitars with matching pegheads. They took a “tool” of a guitar, and took it to the level of “wow”, “ooh”, and “sweet”. One of my favorite old custom colors was Burgundy Mist… it had such a sexy richness to it. So, when we decided to create our first Limited Edition here at John Page Classic, the Ashburn, Burgundy Mist with a painted peghead was the perfect thing that came to mind. Add a Parchment Pearloid pickguard, and you’ve got the definition of sassy class! The only thing that makes beautiful lines and sweet tones better is to wrap in the perfect color, with the perfect accent.”
A double-cutaway, solid body production guitar custom designed by John Page to be “uniquely familiar.” Featuring an extremely comfortable medium “C” shaped grip, threaded bolt neck assembly for greater tone transfer, contoured heel for easier upper fret access, staggered tuners that eliminate the need for string trees, bass justified fret dots for greater visibility, and Bloodline® by John Page JP-1 single coil pickups with contrarian bridge pickup slant.
