Maton JB6 1979 in case
“In Store & on the Floor”
Maton JB6 – This is a rare handmade Maton solid bodied guitar and these were made in Australia between 1977 and 1983. Made from sassafras with a Queensland maple neck it is a striking looking guitar. Only 315 were made in total with only 20 lefthanded. The fingerboard is ebony and contains 24 frets all in a very good condition. The headstock shows the Maton logo. The pickups are MIJ and there are two tone controls and one overall volume control plus a three-way pickup switch – also a coil tap switch and in/out phase switch for the bridge pickup. The bridge is a tune-o-matic and the tailpiece a stopbar. This is a lovely player which shows knocks and bumps but it looks great.
