How rare to find a Brazilian Rosewood OM-28 GE in this country! The rare guitar came into Australia brand new.
Apologies on any light reflection in the pics, they are just that, this rare Martin is in outstanding condition.
*Brazilian rosewood (CITES I) remains listed on CITES without any exemptions. This species requires a CITES i permit from any exporting country and, requires an import permit into Australia. These permit are almost impossible to obtain to import Brazilian Rosewood from overseas.
Finding a Brazilian Rosewood guitar post 1992 is a challenge making them a rarity. Brazilian Rosewood guitars made in the US are marked “USA only” these days.
An original OM-28 from 1929-1933 can fetch six figures.
