Very clean twenty year old Historic Series Gibson Gold Top. Very, very clean condition with a few small dimples on the face and some small indentations without paint loss on the back. Overall it’s a winner!
The Custom Shop ’56 Les Paul Goldtop Reissue was one of the first models produced by the Historic division in 1993.
It features a mahogany body with maple top, rosewood fretboard, stop-bar tailpiece and Tune-O-Matic bridge, and a pair of P90 pickups. Available in Antique Gold. During this time a version with a Brazilian rosewood fretboard was also produced.
Produced with minor updates through 2006 with the introduction of VOS finishes.
