Purchased in 1960 as a one owner guitar. Returned to the Fender Factory due to a neck twist. (pic of new sunburst, white guard, spaghetti logo).
As a fabulous gesture, Fender refurbished the Stratocaster with a new neck and fitted a matching early style “spaghetti decal” to the April 1965 Brazilian Rosewood Board peg, rather then the current Transition decal offered after late 1964.

The 1960 body was retained with upgraded fully loaded pickguard. In recent years the owner changed the plastics back to green and added new pots and switch. We are trying to obtain these parts.
The Strat has the 1965 factory frets, a fabulous vibrant sunburst and the lovely “thin contours” of a 1960 body.
The guitar is super light weighing in at 3.15kgs.

A mighty guitar in many respects with a cool story. With a refret, this guitar would be unstoppable. What a happy Sunburst!
