Body & Neck
This 1963 Tele is a fantastic example of just how good the team at Fender Custom Shop are. A lightweight 2 piece Ash Body, which is incredibly resonant, is joined to a quartersawn maple neck with a 60s style Oval “C” neck shape and a heavy relic finish. On top of that is a AAA round lam dark rosewood fingerboard with a 9.5″ radius.
Hardware and Electrics
The ’63 Tele is fitted with a Custom Shop 3-saddle Tele Bridge which compensated saddles for better tuning stability and intonation. Loaded with dual hand-wound Texas Special pickups which can handle as much gain as you can throw at them and still produce great clarity.
