A very early FMI Fender guitar, built during the reemergence into the current Fender FMI company, after the fall of CBS owned Fender in 1985. Under the direction of Bill Schultz and co, Fender started the long trek back to the brilliance. That Brilliance can be experienced in many of Fenders today. The pinnacle being the new Fender Custom Shops made utilising Fender’s old ’50’s and ’60’s original tooling. This rare 1986 ’52 reissue has natural playing wear “Genuine Relicing” Back from the day when it was easier to find six nights a week playing, where Par 64 cans would help you melt the finish together with a smoky venue. It’s great to see guitar that bring excitement to the people that are interested in what comes through Black Dot Music.
