Designed by Fender Custom Shop Master Builder, Greg Fessler, the ’60s Stratocaster® guitar features an alder body, “C”-shaped maple neck with 12″-radius rosewood fingerboard and 21 medium jumbo frets, ’69 Strat pickups, custom two-point vintage-style tremolo, and aged knobs and switch tip.
The Classic Player series, introduced in 2006, evolved from the Classic series and today encompasses a special group of guitars. These include distinctive variations on classic Telecaster, Telecaster Thinline and Telecaster Deluxe models (including a notable hybrid “Thinline Deluxe” model) along with vintage-style 1950s and 1960s Stratocaster models and Jazzmaster and Jaguar models combining classic design elements with modern improvements.
