This guitar sounds like a 1930’s Epiphone Navarre or a Gibson J-200 Rosewood. The timbers are superb. The guitar was brought over to Australia for a music trade show display guitar as a prototype. This model never went into production.

Superb select Cedar and Rosewood for the body. Ebony fingerboard. Mahogany neck. No pickup, did have a sound hole pickup at some stage. There was a guy in Canada documenting all Taka models and he said there was a Proto EF560 with pickup system made as well. This guitar is from 1982 has the split saddle five years before it went into full production. Case is original as well.

Incredible timbers with amazing figure and sound. A truly sensational thundering sound.
