Fender Custom Shop Custom Shop has reached new heights of craftsmanship with its acclaimed time machine series, elaborately crafting meticulous replicas using the same techniques and tools used to create the originals all these years ago.

For 2015, Custom Shop proudly introduced an extended range of luxury ” relic ” finishes designed to replicate the wear of the vibe of a true vintage instrument. The Relic finish delivers authentic wear and tear on a guitar that has experienced many years of regular use. Each one is specifically conceived to capture the authenticity of original era Fender, with unmatched breathability and resonance.

Premium Features of the Fender Custom Shop Custom Shop 1963 left Stratocaster

This Custom Shop 1963 relic features a pair of Custom Shop hand-wound 60’s single-coil pickups along with a 60’s reverse wound / reverse polarity mid pickup, mounted in a three-layer mint green pickguard with a 5-position wing for modern tonal versatility. Other luxury features include a 6-seat American Vintage tremolo bridge and matching American Vintage tuners, 21 narrow jumbo ribbons and vintage white control knobs.This 1963 remnant model comes complete with a fantastic candy apple red finish and nitrocellulose varnish, giving appearance for many years on aging and use without the need for heavy wear and tear. Also included is a brown hardshell box with a red interior.
